‘Extremely large’ hubs of solar renewables dubbed ‘solar Tasmania’s’

Centre for Independent Studies' Aidan Morrison says Labor’s push for “extremely large” hubs of solar has been labelled “solar Tasmania’s”.

“This is just an absolutely massive expansion, and to put that expansion in perspective … they have ‘solar Tasmania’s’ they call them,” Mr Morrison said.

“Extremely large hubs of solar that do cover vast areas out in the desert, and that is the kind of massive scale-up; it is many multiples of what we need for our domestic energy.”
