'This event is not over yet' - IDF

By the Israeli Air Force fighter jets, our defense systems, and the defense systems and aircrafts of our partners. Out of over 30 cruise cruise missiles launched by Iran, 0 managed to get into Israel. 25 of them were intercepted by Israeli Air Force fighter jets outside of Israeli borders. Out of more than 120 ballistic missiles, only few managed to enter Israel and all the rest were intercepted. They fell in the Israeli Air Force Base in Navatim and caused slight damage to infrastructure alone. As you can now see, the base is functioning and it continues to carry out its missions. In this picture, you can see the landing strip at the Navatim Air Force Base. Iran thought it would manage to paralyze this Air Force Base and thus to damage our air capabilities, but it failed to do so. Israeli Air Force aircrafts continue to land and take off from the base in various missions of both the defense and attack, among them the F35 aircrafts that are participating in the defense mission of the air base. In addition to the launches from Iran, there were some other launches from Iraq and Yemen and none of them managed to land in Israel in recent hours. Dozens of rockets were launched from Lebanon towards the north of Israel. There are no casualties or fatalities and the Israeli Air Force aircrafts managed to target different targets in Lebanon, while other aircrafts are continuing their air defense missions. In the past six months we have been operating in close collaboration with our partners, first and foremost the US Army, CENTCOM, as well as Britain, France and other countries which have taken action tonight. This partnership has always been a very close, strong one, but this night it was manifest in an exceptional manner. This was a complex air fight defense and there was exceptional functioning of the Air Force commanded by the Chief of General Staff. The defensive capabilities of our air defense system and of the Israeli Air Force aircrafts have managed to show military and technological supremacy of the IDF. Thanks to all these, the Iranian attack as it was planned, was intercepted and thwarted regretfully. A 10 year old girl was severely injured from shrapnel. We sent her our wishes of quick recovery. Except for her, As far as we know, there haven’t been any other cash, and yet this event is not over yet. We are prepared for any further developments and scenarios. The instructions of the Homefront Command continue to remain in place, and that means that no educational activities can be held. If there are any changes in the instructions, we will update you immediately with transparency and responsibility. Just as we did over this past night, we will continue to do. The exemplary behavior in Israeli Homefront was impeccable and we need to continue to operate without any panic and with responsibility. We will do everything we can for the Israeli population to receive information in the quickest and most relevant possible manner. Throughout this night, we conducted A situational assessment in the IDF. In line with the developments, the Chief of General Staff presented their plans to the government. Iran did something very serious, very fear this night as it pushed the Middle East towards escalation. We will do whatever is necessary in order to defend the citizens of the State of Israel. Alongside this night developments. We do not forget for one minute the 133 hostages were being held captive in Gaza and we will continue to do everything in our power in order to bring them back home as soon as possible.
