What do a porn star, Palestinian protesters, journalists, and a progressive-backed district attorney have in common? They are all throwing Donald Trump a series of electoral lifelines, despite their oft-proclaimed hatred of the man.

From coast to coast, a DEIntifada has spread, with photos and videos of pro-Hamas students and professors illegally occupying their campuses – and in the case of schools like Columbia, destroying their campus buildings. The denial of access to parts of campus based on religious background evokes some of the worst of the 1950s, but “segregation now, segregation tomorrow, segregation forever” seems to be the name of the game in these illegal tent cities, where reporters have been regularly banned, or outright attacked in the case of Northwestern University.

For Trump, however, these “mini Gazas” can easily evoke not the ‘50s, but the ‘60s, when pushback to the radical Left-wing activists on campuses across America helped propel Richard Nixon to the White House in 1968. While today’s causeplay enthusiasts believe their cause of solidarity with Gaza following Hamas’s brutal invasion of southern Israel is on par with opposing segregation, reality is of course not on their side.

Pennsylvania Senator John Fetterman, a Democrat, who is increasingly alienating core bases of his party, recently said that protesters at Columbia, for example, fall in two camps: “there’s the pro-Hamas, and then there’s the really pro-Hamas.” Americans at large, however, are neither – with polling consistently showing that a vast majority of Americans want Israel to succeed in its war against Hamas. Most Americans do not side with anti-civilizational genocidaires.

While campuses increasingly resemble actual warzones, the Democrats’ open lawfare against the former president is another weapon they are inadvertently handing to him to help launch him back into the White House. Regardless of the legal merits of the cases against Trump, and there are serious questions about all of them, he could still well be convicted in one or more of them. However, in the meantime, they are turning into political gold.

Trump’s legal foes – Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis foremost among them – are transforming into an insane clown posse: a living reminder of not throwing stones while living in glass houses. Meanwhile, and oddly, some of his former foils, like the disgraced lawyer Michael Avenatti, are sprinting to defend him, perhaps salivating at the thought of a presidential pardon next January.

None of these factors even account for the unmistakable political wins that Stormy Daniels and Alvin Bragg have handed to Trump. While a Manhattan jury could readily indict a ham sandwich if it had so much as spent time in Trump Tower, Judge Juan Merchan has repeatedly made Trump – a billionaire former president – look relatable.

Banning Trump from attending his son’s graduation, before relenting, was a gift from above to the former real estate mogul, who cut his teeth in Manhattan. Likewise, Trump’s visits to bodegas and rallies with construction workers, even in one of America’s bluest cities, have proven irresistible to our press corps to cover. The media’s frustration is evident when their man-on-the-street interviews show Trump is gaining ground even in the Big Apple.

Speaking of the Fourth Estate, the psychotic breakdowns that many in the press have been suffering have taken their collective Trump Derangement Syndrome to new highs. Following this year’s White House Correspondents’ Dinner, where the worst people in America gather annually, MSNBC’s Nicolle Wallace warned that if Trump wins, the WHCD’s days may be numbered – a backhanded endorsement of Trump if ever there were one.

“We can’t say for certain that there would even be a White House correspondents’ dinner, or even a free press, or even a White House press corps” if Trump wins, she warned. Given that Peter Doocy is the only one in the press briefing rooms who even seems interested in asking questions to the White House, is any of that really a bad thing?

And in a sign that the campus protests will continue to dog Biden wherever he goes (and help Trump), a mini protest sprung up outside the correspondents’ dinner, where attendees were jeered at by leering activists. The attendees at the dinner would make NPR’s editorial board look conservative – so many of Trump’s enemies dined together that it’s a surprise that Stormy Daniels wasn’t there herself.

After all, Daniels and the Palestinian protesters who are seemingly working overtime to make Trump look sympathetic and sane, respectively, are at least trying to get paid for their work. The journalists are too incompetent to cash in, except through literary deals for books that no one will read.

With enemies like this, Trump doesn’t even need friends.
