The rumors and news around Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins won’t slow down now.
As Bengals fans will surely remember from the Jessie Bates saga, it will only ramp up now that players are set to work at spring activities and again later in the summer.
Before even that, Higgins was at his youth football camp over the weekend with media and took a question about his future with the Bengals.
In the footage from WLWT’s Charlie Clifford, Higgins says “I do anticipate it” when asked if he thinks he will play for the Bengals in 2024.
A report prior to this suggested the Bengals and Higgins haven’t talked about a contract extension again yet. Another report claimed the Steelers, of all teams, have talked about considering a trade.
Otherwise, Higgins recently defended his agent against criticism for the handling of the situation as he seemingly gets ready to play next season on the franchise tag.
