ABD, Yemen’deki Husilerin kontrol ettiği bölgeden, Aden Körfezi’nden geçiş yapan gemileri hedef alan balistik füze ateşlendiğini bildirdi.

ABD Merkez Kuvvetler Komutanlığı (CENTCOM), sosyal medya platformu X’teki hesabından, Yemen’deki Husilerin hafta sonu Aden Körfezi’nden geçiş yapan gemilere yönelik saldırıları ve verilen karşılık hakkında açıklama yaptı.

Açıklamada, Husilerin, 13 Nisan’da Yemen’de kontrol ettikleri bölgeden Aden Körfezi’ne doğru bir gemisavar balistik füze (ASBM) fırlattığı ancak körfezdeki gemilerden quot;herhangi bir hasar bildirilmediğiquot; kaydedildi.

CENTCOM’un, 14 Nisan’da, bu gelişmenin ardından quot;meşru müdafaa amacıylaquot; Husilerin kontrolündeki bölgelerde 4 insansız hava aracını (İHA) quot;başarıyla imha ettiğiquot; bilgisi paylaşıldı.

Açıklamada, quot;Bu eylemler, seyrüsefer özgürlüğünü korumak, uluslararası suları ABD, koalisyon ve ticari gemiler için daha güvenli hale getirmek için yapılıyor.quot; ifadesine yer verildi.

İHA’ların bölgedeki ABD, koalisyon ve ticari gemilere yönelik quot;yakın tehdit oluşturduğuquot; belirtildi.
