Inside Harry Kane's family life following car crash scare

England captain and Bayern Munich ace Harry Kane’s family came out uninjured following a car crash scare in Germany on April 8.

Harry’s children Louis, Vivienne and Ivy were all travelling in a Mercedes van when it collided with a Renault near Schäftlarn in Munich, before being taken to hospital for a check-up. It was later confirmed that none of the children had been injured.

Katie Goodland, the striker’s wife, and their fourth child, Henry, are not believed to have been involved in the incident.

The devoted father-of-four scored in North London the following day for the German giants against Arsenal before returning home to continue domestic duties with the side he moved abroad to join in August 2023.

Harry and Katie Goodland, a fitness instructor, live a very glamorous lifestyle in a £30million Bavarian home, which they moved to following his transfer to Bayern Munich in August 2023

The footballer and fitness instructor met as pupils at Larkswood Primary School in east London, and a relationship blossomed that has lasted decades.

Harry and Katie were photographed together as pre-teens in 2005, when they both attended the launch of David Beckham’s Football Academy at London’s Buoy Wharf.

They both attended Beckham’s former school – Chingford Foundation School –  at the time.

Katie has stood with the England captain for years since and the pair have raised four children – Ivy (born 2017), Vivienne (2018), Louis (2020) and Henry (2023) – as well as providing a home for Labradors Brady and Wilson.

She has previously described her husband’s fame as ‘a little crazy’ – but it is more than clear that the couple have a lot of pride in each other’s achievements as the Kane clan thrives.

At the end of the striker’s final season in England, Katie posted a sweet snap of the family together on the pitch, writing: ‘Season done, always so proud. Time to relax and make memories with our babies.’

The childhood sweethearts became engaged in July 2017, when sports star Harry got down on one knee during a romantic trip to Nassau in the Bahamas.

Two years later, the bride-to-be was spotted enjoying a fun-filled hen do, in a top emblazoned with her famous fiancé’s number nine.

They married later in 2019, after welcoming their first two children in the preceding years.

Their first son, Louis, was born in 2020, three years before his little brother.

In 2017, Harry revealed how lucky he felt to have found his now-wife.

He told the Evening Standard: ‘If I was single now and meeting people, you’d never know if they were with you for the right reasons.

‘Is it the money? You’d never really know. So I’m lucky that I’ve got a childhood sweetheart.

‘She always wanted to do her own thing. She went to university and worked hard.’

They got together properly when they were 16 and went to their school prom together.

Harry told Esquire magazine in 2015: ‘We went to school together, so she’s seen my whole career.

‘Of course, she’s finding it a little crazy. I think she’s even been in the papers a couple of times taking the dogs out.’

Not overly phased by the fame, Harry has praised Katie publicly for wanting to do live her own life away from the spotlight, while she still passionately supports her husband from the sidelines

But the public life doesn’t seem to faze the mother-of-four, who is regularly photographed attending her husband’s matches and celebrating his goals passionately in the crowd.

The footballer famously kisses his ring finger after every goal he scores, in a sweet nod to his sweetheart and their happy family.

They all moved out to Germany after Harry made his £100million move from Tottenham Hotspur in the summer of 2023, to a £30m hilltop mansion in an area dubbed ‘the Beverly Hills of Bavaria’.

England’s record goalscorer had previously been holed up in a £10,000-per-night suite in Munich’s Munich’s Vier Jahreszeiten Kempinski Hotel after leaving his £17m family home back in North London.

The Mirror reported that the new pad is complete with a spa and sundeck with river views and a garden on the edge of a forest.

The property was also featured in a 2014 German romcom about a sperm donor who is made impotent after being attacked by a ferret.

It has previously been owned by former Bayern stars Mehmet Scholl and Lucas Hernandez – who reportedly hosted lavish parties in the home.

Katie and their four children eventually followed the England captain to the continent when they bought a £30m mansion in Bavaria, formerly owned by previous Bayern stars

The Kanes’ move was not without difficulties as Harry revealed in November 2023 that he had struggled to arrange schools for his and Katie’s children. However, the striker is now thriving both on and off the field

In contrast, Harry has kept a low profile in Munich and likes to go golfing in Strasslach, a south Munich suburb, with ex-Bayern and Chelsea forward Claudio Pizarro, the Athletic previously reported.

The Kanes’ move was not without difficulties as Harry revealed in November 2023 that he had struggled to arrange schools for his and Katie’s children.

But since then, the couple have shared plenty of snaps of themselves and the children enjoying life in Munich, with the three eldest seen in their father’s full kit as they watch him excel in his new surroundings.

Harry has proven to be a record-breaking arrival in the German Bundesliga, settling into life in his new home both on and off the pitch.
