Jackie ‘O’ Henderson has sparked romance rumours after she was spotted enjoying a swim with a ‘handsome’ male companion over the weekend.

The radio titan and insurance broker Daniel Cartwright were seen cooling off at Clovelly Beach in Sydney’s eastern suburbs before heading to the pub together.

However, the popular KIIS FM breakfast host told The Daily Telegraph they were ‘just friends’.

‘There is nothing more than friendship,’ added a source close to the minted media personality. ‘It is purely platonic.’

It comes after Jackie opened up about her new approach to finding love and her adamant refusal to ever grace the screens of a reality TV dating show during an interview with Daily Mail Australia.

‘I’m done with dating apps. I don’t know. I’m just going to, like, see what happens… I’m open to whatever comes along,’ she said.

When pressed if she would ever consider appearing on a dating show such as The Bachelorette Jackie responded, ‘Oh, no, no. Definitely not The Bachelorette.’

‘No. I won’t be doing that. No dating shows… I don’t wanna be on TV [dating] . It’s hard enough doing it in private.’

It comes weeks after Jackie broke her silence on rumours she was dating 29-year-old model tradie Jack Tyerman.

‘No, Jack is not my boyfriend. We’re not in a relationship. He is not my boy toy,’ Jackie told co-host Kyle Sandilands on their hit breakfast radio show.

The media personality went on to say she was ultimately ‘to blame’ for the romance rumours after she told Daily Mail Australia she was dating someone during a Logies interview.

‘In my mind, I’m dating and I’ve been on a few dates, so I said “maybe” [I’m dating], but I probably should have said, “Maybe, we’ll see what happens,”‘ she confessed.

The romance rumours started after Jackie exclusively revealed to Daily Mail Australia that she was seeing a new man during a red carpet interview at the TV Week Logie Awards.

‘I’ll just say maybe,’ she said when asked if she was seeing anyone new.

After being quizzed on whether her new love would be joining her at the Logies, Jackie was quick to insist, ‘No, no!’

Not long after that Jackie and Jack were seen enjoying what appeared to be a romantic moonlit date on the balcony of her Clovelly mansion.
