Sky News host Steve Price has called for Prime Minister Anthony Albanese to “step up and be brave” on the issue of youth crime in Alice Springs.
“We can’t let this week pass without wondering where strong political leadership in this country has disappeared to,” Mr Price said.
“Off the back of a week of political chaos in Canberra … we are crying out for strong, tough cut-through leadership and we certainly are not getting it from the current Prime Minister Anthony Albanese.
Steve Price calls for PM to ‘step up’ on issue of Alice Springs youth crime
“The PM seems like a bloke who doesn’t want to upset anyone, a bloke who wants Australia to love him and not respect him.
“And the Alice Springs riot Tuesday, resulting in a curfew that bans kids, children, teenagers from the CBD for two weeks, is a classic example of where the Prime Minister just doesn’t get it.”
