Titanic Belfast closed due to roof damage
Titanic Belfast will remain closed until the end of the month, after damage to its roof.
On Tuesday, Siobhan Lynch, Director of Operations at Titanic Belfast said it will be closed to the public due to damage caused to the roof during Storm Isha.
Today, it was confirmed that after assessment to the damage, the Titanic Belfast will stay closed until January 31.
“Following further assessment of the damage to its roof, Titanic Belfast plans to close until next week to allow for remedial works to take place,” a statement read.
“It is anticipated that the attraction will reopen on Wednesday 31st January,” it added.
“The safety of the public and its staff are Titanic Belfast’s priority and as such, access to the building and surrounding plaza are closed and customers are being asked not to come to the site.
“All prebooked customers and clients will be notified and refunded.
“We apologise for the inconvenience caused.”
