Stephen Bear made £22,000 from leaking Georgia Harrison sex tape onto OnlyFans - as shamed reality star faces having to pay ex-girlfriend even more in damages on top of £200,000 he was ordered to fork out

Bear was released from jail last week after serving half of his 21-month sentence

Shamed reality star Stephen Bear made £22,000 from leaking a sex tape of his ex-girlfriend Georgia Harrison onto porn website OnlyFans, it was revealed today.

The convicted sex offender, 34, who appeared in court to determine how much he would have to pay back his Love Island ex for his crime, charged viewers $9.99 to view the video.

At the time, Bear was posing as ‘a billionaire’ on his Twitter and YouTube accounts but was ‘in fact heavily overdrawn’, Essex Police financial investigator Laura Mackenzie told the court.

Prosecutor Andrew Bousfield added ‘despite pretending to be a billionaire, his most valuable asset at the time was selling sexual videos’. His main asset at the time was £60,000 in owning his house, the court heard.

The former Celebrity Big Brother contestant now faces having to pay Georgia even more in damages – after he was previously ordered to fork out more than £200,000 to his ex.

However, he will have to wait until Georgia is back in the UK to find out how much he has to pay – because she is currently starring in Celebrity Love Island in South Africa and cannot give her views to the judge.

Bear arrived at court this morning with his parents wearing a double-breasted black suit, white shirt, navy blue tie and sunglasses – in stark contrast to when he turned up to his revenge porn trial in a £475-a-day rented Rolls Royce, sporting a slew of bold suits and a decorative cane.

Ms Mackenzie calculated the profits from the specific video of Bear and Georgia Harrison at £22,305.46.

But as far as how much he will have to pay back, the court decided to adjourn until Monday March 4, when Ms Harrison can be present.

Judge Christopher Morgan said Ms Harrison must be considered in determining the size of the ‘confiscation and compensation order’ Bear must bare, as she is the victim of his crime.

He added Ms Harrison was ‘entitled’ to take a holiday due to the ordeal she had suffered at Bear’s hands.

Ms Mackenzie told the court: ‘Ms Harrison became aware of the [sex] video at the beginning of December and by then it began to go viral.’

Also heard in court today was how Bear  has very few assets.

Prosecuting Counsel told the court: ‘Mr Bear was purporting to be a billionaire. But he was not a billionaire at all. He was a mucky… who was selling sex videos. He has £60,000 from a house. His car is owned by his mother.’

Bear posted ‘trailers’ for his sex tape on Twitter, encouraging more people to view the film, the court heard.

Judge Morgan said: ‘By sending out the trailers, he’s saying ‘if you want more, you can subscribe to the sites.’

The court heard that Bear changed his story about the reason for selling his house while he was in jail.

Prosecuting Counsel said: ‘He said he sold his house to pay civil charges to Miss Harrison. But he hasn’t paid a penny. He released a statement from prison saying he sold the house and he’s wanting to pay for an appeal.’

The court also heard how Bear broke planning regulations to erect a fence around his Essex home after he was ‘hounded’ following his release of the sex tape.

Counsel for Bear claimed he had become the target of ‘crooks’ who tried to break into the property in Loughton, and ‘broke the handle off’ his back door.

Epping Forest District Council first became aware of the illegal fence in November 2020 and it was still in place in January 2022, when they returned to check.

Bear admitted the planning offence and was ordered to pay £5,207 in fines and costs.

Bear was jailed in March 2023 after being convicted of voyeurism, disclosing private, sexual photographs and films with intent to cause distress, and harassment without violence.
