Poco queda para el lanzamiento de Stellar Blade y sus desarrolladores han dado a conocer un nuevo adelanto del juego, entregando un poco más de detalles de como ha sido su creación.

Este es el segundo diario de desarrollo que lanza el estudio coreano Shift Up y donde se refieren a las inspiraciones que tuvieron para realizar el juego.

Es así como el director de diseño de Combate, Kiseok Kim, explica que el sistema de combate ha tomado inspiración de títulos como God of War, Bayonetta, DMC y Dark Souls o Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice.

En la ocasión, el director del juego, Hyung Tae-Kim, se refiere a las referencias para crear la ciudad del juego señalando que “tiene referencias de varios países, pero especialmente de Corea”, agregando que “Corea se ha desarrollado mucho a través de los años con estructuras que han pasado por ciclos de construcción y decadencia. Ver esos edificios desmoronarse siempre me pareció postapocalíptico. Quería capturar este encanto tan peculiar en Stellar Blade.”

La sinopsis de Stellar Blade apunta que…

“La Tierra ha sido abandonada, devastada por criaturas poderosas y extrañas, y lo que queda de la diezmada raza humana se ha escapado a una colonia en el espacio exterior. Desde la Colonia, EVE, la integrante del Escuadrón Aéreo VII, llega a nuestro desolado planeta con una misión: salvar a la humanidad y recuperar la Tierra de las garras de los Naytibas, la fuerza malévola que ha arrasado con todo.

Sin embargo, a medida que EVE resuelve los misterios del pasado en las ruinas de la civilización humana y derrota a los Naytibas uno por uno, comprende que su misión no es tan simple como pensaba. De hecho, nada será tan fácil como parece”…

Stellar Balde saldrá el próximo 26 de abril para PlayStation 5.
