South Africa's T20 World Cup Squad: Full Schedule, Match Timings in IST, Tournament History, Most Runs and Most Wickets
South Africa will be led by Aiden Markram.
South Africa will aim to secure their maiden T20 World Cup title this time around. The competition will be co-hosted by the West Indies and the USA in June.
South Africa announced a 15-member squad for the T20 World Cup on April 30. The team will be led by Aiden Markram. Anrich Nortje is set to make a return to the international circuit after a long period of nine months. The pacer, who is currently plying his trade in the Indian Premier League (IPL), last time represented South Africa in September 2023. Quinton de Kock, who has already retired from Tests and ODIs, is also part of the squad.
Two uncapped players– Ryan Rickelton and Ottniel Baartman – have been taken on board on the back of their exceptional performance in this year’s SA20 tournament. Rickelton was the top scorer in the franchise competition, scoring 530 runs at an average of 58.88.
