Sky Pasada Launches Flights to Batanes from Laoag
(SPOT.ph) There’s no denying the beauty of Batanes province. You might have seen it on TV, the internet, or even in good old 3R pictures, but those are just the tip of the iceberg. The best way to appreciate Batanes is to be there, to walk along its rolling hills, break bread with the Ivatans, and marvel at the fantastic scenery.
Until recently, flights to Batanes were solely confined from Ninoy Aquino International Airport, but this May, we’re getting another way to visit the northernmost islands. Ever heard of Sky Pasada? This regional airline has recently opened direct flights to Basco, Batanes, and here’s what you need to know about its newest route.
Check out Sky Pasada, the Jeepney of the Skies:
Calling itself the Jeepney of the Skies, Sky Pasada is a domestic airline company servicing different provinces in Northern Luzon. The airline has a modest fleet of LET 410 UVP, Mahindra GA8 Airvans, and Cessna Grand Caravan Ex planes designed for seven to 15 passengers and short and rougher runways—a.k.a smaller airports.
