Today is going to be a wonderful celebration of Rick in some ways. I guess this is, he’s having his final show, it seems like in so many ways. Because it’s a little bit of a retrospective from the people that he worked with so well over the years, you know? And it’s just nice to see these lovely little clips of the videos there from the young days and stuff. I mean he he just. Was a matter of creative person in some of the ways with wonderful big vision and ability and such an ability to really. Resonate with the hearts of people. I can’t begin to tell you how many people have sent messages or said to me in person, he gave us so many laughs over the years, you know, And yeah, so kind of a little mixture of looking at his body of work, whereas Rick would always say to me his Canon of work. Was thrilled. Just it’s a celebration of Rick’s life because Rick was so many things to so many people, you know he and he involved multitudes. You know he, he was a historian, an archivist. He was, you know, he was he was interested in everything of course, really how we mostly know him as as a brilliant actor, Rick was. So he seemed more grown up, even though he was a little bit younger than me and so so he had such oomph and success for life and could put together. I did a party at the drop of a hat, you know, and just knew everything. And I remember the time we brought the taxi driver in when we were ordering late night booze. I thought right into my bedroom. I was a little taken aback by that, but never mind. We drank the bottle anyway. It’s kind of an incredible rapport with the audience. And I just remember one time being there and there were people next to me who I never knew before. And they just started laughing and they said, Oh my God, that’s Rick, you know? He stepped up. And started doing public presentations about being a gay man. That was not an easy thing to do in 1970 in today’s world, we think. But in 1970 it was tough. Roby used to say that he was the 1st to go body of work that this this man that was Rick to us generated. It’s just really incredible and to to do all that and and you only just 70 you know last drink of his memory. And his story was.
