Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders is one of the top quarterbacks in college football for next season.
For a while, he was projected to be the top pick in the 2025 NFL Draft but Georgia quarterback Carson Beck has now surpassed him.
Beck has +300 odds to be the first pick, followed by Sanders at +450.
This could change in a few months but Beck has a lot of buzz entering the 2024 season. He started the entire season in 2023, finishing with 3.941 yards through the air, 24 touchdowns, and only six interceptions.
It was his first full season as the starter after he replaced Stetson Bennett.
Sanders will be in his second season at Colorado after starting during the 2023 season. Even though Colorado finished 4-8, Sanders was still great, compiling 3,230 yards through the air, 27 touchdowns, and only three interceptions.
They’re both projected to be even better this season so it’ll be fascinating to see how they duke it out for that top spot in next year’s draft.
Who do you think will go first overall in 2025?
