Big low pressure system moving into the Great Lakes region that’s going to bring the threat for severe weather for us. We’ve already had round one showers and thunderstorms have rolled across southern Ontario. Second round is expected to push in as we head into later on Wednesday evening toward southwestern Ontario and toward the Greater Toronto Area. Now National Weather Service in the US is highlighting, you know, parts of Michigan and that creeps into the Lake Erie. Extreme Southwestern Ontario era where there is that non zero risk of severe weather which could include. Tonatic threat you see there for us across Southern Ontario, so from Toronto to the shores of Lake Huron, Niagara down toward the southwest, we’ve got that risk of thunderstorms. But the era highlighted in our orange could be into some strong wind gusts, large hail and heavy rain, particularly for us. And again the extreme southwest not ruling out the potential for some super, an isolated supercell I should say and maybe a tonatic threat. So there’s round one, round two coming in for us down towards Southwestern Ontario and this is the one we’ve got to watch closely. Some of the parameters are quite favorable for severe weather development, so we’ll see how that pans out continuing through the evening, those showers, thunderstorms move toward the Niagara region and in through Southern Ontario across the Toronto area. By the time we head through the overnight, that activity tapers off, but then we wait for the next bit of rain coming in on Friday.
