A separated couple with four children were found dead in a suburban home with homicide detectives called in to investigate their deaths.

Mark Stillman, 64, and his wife Lesley, 67, were found dead by detectives at a home on Golf Links Drive at Carramar, Perth’s north, at 10.40am on Sunday.

Officers had been called to carry out a welfare check on the couple when they made the grim discovery.

One body was found by investigators in the garage.

Dozens of officers were seen at the home on Sunday and police also spoke with residents nearby.

Detectives and forensic officers visited the home on Monday to begin their investigations.

A spokeswoman from Western Australian Police told Daily Mail Australia there is no ongoing threat.

‘Investigators can assure the community there are no concerns for the general public’s safety,’ the spokeswoman said.

Mr and Ms Stillman were married and separated several years ago, however they were living together in the house, the West Australian reported.

The couple had four children and the pair were from the UK before they moved to Australia.

One resident who lives on the quiet street said his wife spoke to Ms Stillman on the weekend.

‘We spoke to Lesley on Saturday morning, she was bouncy, she was going off to Pilates with her friends and that’s the last we saw them,’ he said.

‘I think it will hit home in a few days time.’

Ms Stillman had been on holidays last month and visited Cambodia and Thailand before she came back home.

She had been a volunteer at Guide Dogs WA according to her LinkedIn page and completed a Master of Business Administration, at the London Metropolitan University in 2001.

Anyone with information or CCTV footage that is related to the ongoing investigations about the pair, have been urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333  000.
