Orlando Pirates are back in action this weekend against Sekhukhune. Here are all the details you need ahead of this DStv Premiership clash.

Babina Noko plays host to the Sea Robbers this weekend. The match takes place on Saturday 30 March at 17:45. Sekhukhune is in fine form, winning their last four matches in the league. That run has seen them climb into sixth place and they can leapfrog Pirates with a win here. Also, remember that Lehlohonolo Seema’s man has a game in hand. Sekhukhune also boasts the joint-second-best defence in the current top six, with just 16 goals conceded all season.

CHIPPA AND PIRATES TO CONTINUE THEIR WORKING RELATIONSHIP

Orlando Pirates and Chippa are no strangers in the transfer market. Craig Martin, Bienvenu Eva Nga and Goodman Mosele (loan) have swapped the Buccaneers for the Chilli Boys in recent times. New Sea Robbers signing Thabiso Lebitso, who scored against Kaizer Chiefs in the Derby, has moved the other way. Now, Pirates are ready to shift a few more of their surplus stars to Chippa. That’s according to SoccerLaduma.

“Chippa is interested in no less than three players from Pirates, and they are Sandile Mthethwa, Siphelo Baloni and Thabiso Sesane. The club (Chippa) will be monitoring their situation for the rest of the season with a possibility to enquire about them on loan. The players are in the plans at Pirates but the club will want to see them playing to grow and you can expect talks to begin in the coming weeks,” said the source.

ORLANDO PIRATES’ WISH LIST IS GROWING

Oswin Appollis, Freddy Kouablan, Elias Mokwana, Shaune Mogaila and Lehlohonolo Mejola, among others, have all been linked with a Sea Robbers switch. 22-year-old Appollis, recently part of the Bafana group at Afcon, has four goals in 18 league appearances this term for unfashionable Polokwane City.
