Seahawks draft picks 2024: When does Seattle pick? Full list of NFL Draft selections
The Seattle Seahawks are in an interesting position at the 2024 NFL Draft. They have a new head coach for the first time in more than a decade with Mike Macdonald replacing Pete Carroll but they have the same front office. That makes this draft class really interesting.
Will the Seahawks prioritize a quarterback? New offensive coordinator Ryan Grubb was Washington’s offensive coordinator the past two seasons and his quarterback was Michael Penix Jr. Is that a direction they will go?
The likely option for the Seahawks will be to continue fortifying the trenches to help the core roster stay intact and help them try to make a playoff run in 2024. Going into Thursday’s draft, they have seven picks without one in rounds two or five.

Seahawks NFL Draft needs
- Linebacker The Seahawks ended up losing Jordyn Brooks and Bobby Wagner to free agency and they didn’t bring in anybody noteworthy to replace them. It’s unfortunate for the Seahawks that this isn’t a good linebacker class.
- Guard The Seahawks feel like they have tackle figured out with Charles Cross and (if he stays healthy) Abraham Lucas. Offensive guard isn’t one of those positions for the Seahawks but there are multiple guard/tackle options available for them at 16.
- Safety After losing Quandre Diggs and Jamal Adams by releasing them, safety has become a really important need. Coby Bryant might be best suited to play safety long-term but taking one in this draft should be a priority.
