Mr. Speaker, I have colleagues on the side of this House who have lost children. Mr. Speaker, that is incredibly difficult for a parent to go through, something no parent should have to go through in this Province. I did apologize to Miss Thomas. It was a poor choice of words on my part. And Mr. Speaker, I again, I apologize for that. So I sat down at the table with him and I said, what do we need to do to come to an agreement with the teachers? And he said every time we say something that they don’t like, they get up from the table. And they leap and then he said, and I quote, what do they want me to do? Give up my first born child? And I mean, obviously my jaw dropped at that. That was a really poor choice of words on my part and I apologized for that and and I’m human. I made a mistake. It was a really poor choice, words on my part.
