A hostel in Rwanda has said it is ready to receive migrants from the United Kingdom, days after the British government approved a controversial bill that will deport migrants who arrive in the country. The measure is mainly aimed at migrants who cross the English Channel from France in small boats. Hope Hostel previously housed survivors of genocide. They will get the different services, different hospitality services. Like the accommodation where we have a capacity of accommodating 100 people. The scheme, which was long delayed by legal challenges, has been heavily criticized by various human rights groups as inhumane, unethical and ultimately unworkable. The British Home Secretary, James Cleverly, is currently in Italy to discuss preventing small boat crossings and illegal migration. The UK Rwanda deal mimics Rome’s controversial pact to outsource the processing of asylum seekers to centers in Albania.
