Critics Choice Awards 2024: Rebecca Romijn makes a chic statement in a striking purple gown with a plunging neckline on the red carpet

Some of the biggest names in Hollywood and beyond are making their way to the 29th Critics Choice Awards, which honors the finest achievements of filmmaking and television programming of 2023.

Ahead of the ceremony, the stars took time out to showcase their fashionable sides by strutting out in front of photographers along the red carpet.

Rebecca Romijn was the picture of confident elegance decked out in a striking purple gown, from Pamella Roland, with an off-the-shoulder design and flirty neckline that went down to just above her slender waistline.

The two obvious designs in the front portion were highlighted and enhanced with a darker purple pattern that went around the sides of her shoulders and continued down along the plunging portion.

Although the full-length number came all the way down to the ground, the Star Trek: Strange New Worlds actress did appear to be wearing a pair of open-toe heels.

Romijn, 51, accessorized with dangling earrings, rings, a necklace, and a colorful feathered clutch purse that was predominantly an lighter shade of purple.

Rounding out her overall ensemble, the actress and former model had her blonde locks in a blunt cut just above her shoulders with a slick-look pushed back over her ears with a center part.

Lighting up the pre-ceremonial festivities, the mother of two, who shares her 15-year-old twins, Charlie and Dolly, with her husband, actor and television host Jerry O’Connell, appeared to be in a jovial mood, considering her glowing smile.

The ceremony will be broadcast on The CW and hosted by Chelsea Handler, which marks her second consecutive year doing the gig.

Going into the awards show, Barbie led all films with a record-breaking 18 nominations, followed by Oppenheimer and Poor Things with 13 each.

Along with Barbie, the other Best Picture nominees are American Fiction, The Color Purple, The Holdovers, Killers Of The Flower Moon, Maestro, Oppenheimer, Past Lives, Poor Things and Saltburn.

On the television side, The Morning Show led the way with six nominations, followed by Succession with five.

Romijn’s current series, Star Trek: Strange New Worlds (Paramount+), for which she plays the role of Number One, is among the eight nominees for Best Drama Series that also includes The Crown (Netflix), The Diplomat (Netflix)

The Last of Us (HBO | Max), Loki (Disney+), The Morning Show (Apple TV+), Succession (HBO | Max) and Winning Time: The Rise Of The Lakers Dynasty (HBO | Max).

Harrison Ford will receive the Career Achievement Award during the ceremony.

The legendary Star Wars and Indiana Jones actor is also nominated this year for Best Supporting Actor In A Comedy Series for his role in the Apple TV+ production, Shrinking.

On top of her job on the Star Trek series, Romijn also serves as co-host of the reality series The Real Love Boat alongside her husband, 49.

The couple also performed the vocals for the song featured in the series’ opening credits.

Romijn and O’Connell, who started dating in 2004 after meeting in Las Vegas, ended up tying-the-knot in an intimate summer ceremony in Calabasas, California three years later in July 2007.
