LINKED WITH KAIZER CHIEFS
Pitso Mosimane to Kaizer Chiefs is looking like a bigger possibility every day. Here are four reasons he could move to Amakhosi next season.
Will Kaizer Chiefs fans finally celebrate the signing of Pitso Mosimane this coming winter? Let’s look at four reasons that give Amakhosi fans to feel excited. The reasons include comments from Kaizer Motaung Junior, Kaizer Motaung and how they connect with Mosimane’s own comments and contract situation with Abha Club in Saudi Arabia.
Without too much discussion, let’s go straight in to the reasons the man known as “Jingles” is likely to move to Naturena.
1. Kaizer Motaung Jnr
The latest chat about Kaizer Chiefs’ coaching situation was communicated by the club’s Sporting Director Kaizer Motaung Jnr. The former striker assured fans that the Soweto giants will appoint a ‘new technical structure. “It’s a something we communicated from the onset — Cavin [Johnson] has stepped in on an interim basis and we’re [committed] to having a different technical structure next season,” Motaung told TimesLIVE last week. “The plans have long been in motion — we’ll be having a different technical structure next season. At the appropriate time we’ll make the right announcements.”
2. Kaizer Motaung
The Soweto Giants’ founder and chairman, Kaizer Motaung, previously confirmed the club’s search for a new coach. “I cannot say at the moment how many CVs are on the table, but process is taking place,” the Kaizer Chiefs chairman said via SportsLIVE with BBK in December 2023. “We haven’t embarked on talking to anybody at the moment, but we have put a process is in place for us to deal with new coach that we want to bring in, because as you said, Mr Johnson is just an interim coach at the moment,” the Amakhosi icon concluded.
3. PITSO MOSIMANE OFFERED HIMSELF TO AMAKHOSI
South African football supporters should remember. Mosimane, during his summer rest here in Mzansi, spent some time with the media to talk about his future. The 59-year-old coach from Kagiso, Gauteng, went as far offering himself to Kaizer Chiefs on live television. – READ THE FULL STORY HERE.
