Launched back in January, the Redmi Note 13 series is Xiaomi’s first major Redmi release in Malaysia for 2024. From now until the end of this month, you can obtain selected models within the series for less than their original launch price.
Xiaomi offers discounts for Redmi Note 13 4G and 5G
Redmi Note 13 5G
Under the new promo which will last until 30 April, you can get a RM100 discount for Redmi Note 13 4G and Redmi Note 13 5G. Here’s how the discount pricing looks for both devices:
- Redmi Note 13 5G 8GB/256GB: RM1,099 RM999
- Redmi Note 13 4G 8GB/256GB: RM899 RM799
- Redmi Note 13 4G 6GB/128GB: RM749 RM649
You can get the Redmi Note 13 4G and 5G at a discounted price through Xiaomi’s official store on Lazada and Shopee. Alternatively, you can also take advantage of the promo at Xiaomi Authorised Store across Malaysia.
As weird as this may sound, this promo is not available at Xiaomi Malaysia’s new webstore though. While the store does offer discounts for the online-exclusive Redmi Note 13 4G 6GB/128GB model, the amount is only RM50.

Even though it is the entry-level model of the family, the standard Redmi Note 13 still comes with a sizeable 6.67-inch AMOLED display. It even offers a maximum refresh rate of up to 120Hz on both 4G and 5G variants.
The screen on both variants also has a native resolution of 2400 x 1080,. However, the 4G model is covered by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 while the 5G is fitted with Gorilla Glass 5 instead.

Redmi Note 13 Series Launch Malaysia
Interestingly enough, Xiaomi has picked the Qualcomm Snapdragon 685 for the 4G variant but opted for the MediaTek Dimensity 6080 to be fitted into the 5G model instead. Nevertheless, both Redmi Note 13 versions feature a similar camera setup that includes a 108MP main camera, 8MP ultra-wide camera, 2MP macro camera, and 16MP selfie camera.
Both variants have also been fitted with 5,000mAh battery which supports fast charging of up to 33W. Colour-wise, the 4G variant can be obtained in Midnight Black, Mint Green, Ice Blue, and Ocean Sunset while the 5G colour options include Graphite Black, Arctic White, and Ocean Teal.
