English star Jude Bellingham insists he has no regrets about choosing Real Madrid over Manchester City.
The young midfielder left Borussia Dortmund to join the Spanish giants last summer in a €103 million deal.
The 20-year-old settled nicely at the Santiago Bernabeu and became an instant fan favorite.
Real Madrid and City are set to lock horns on Wednesday for the second leg of their UEFA Champions League quarter-final tie.
The first game ended with an exciting 3-3 draw in Madrid last week.
Bellingham stated ahead of the match, as quoted by Tribal Football: “I had good chats with clubs, including Dortmund.
“My family were great in helping me chew up that information, because it’s difficult, while you’re still in the season, to take in the information and process it and still have to play at the weekend or in the Champions League.
“I had conversations with other teams, but when Madrid came in, it was a no-brainer really.
“The size of the club, the project, the plan going forward, the chance to play with such amazing players. I just jumped at it. That’s why I made my decision.”
Bellingham scored 20 goals and provided ten assists in 34 appearances for Real Madrid across all competitions.
