The trough of a low pressure area (LPA) over the southeastern section of Mindanao and a ridge of a high pressure area (HPA) over the eastern sections of Northern and Central Luzon may cause rainy skies over the country.
According to PAGASA’s daily weather forecast on Tuesday afternoon, cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms may be felt over Davao Region and SOCCSKSARGEN due to the trough of LPA.
The rest of the country may have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms caused by localized thunderstorms.
Possible flash floods or landslides may occur in several areas as a result of said weather conditions.
Meanwhile, the whole country may experience light to moderate winds with slight to moderate coastal waters.
