While the league was well represented at the highly touted LSU pro day, there were plenty of NFL eyes at the Tennessee Volunteers pro day as well to get a peek at the likes of Kamal Hadden, Jaylen Wright, and enigma quarterback Joe Milton. All three are hoping to hear their names called in the 2024 NFL draft.

Milton became the clear showcase of the pro day, pulling out his cannon arm and launching it all over the field. Having to move outside to show off his stratospheric deep ball, Milton clearly shows he has all the arm talent in the world to potentially develop into an NFL starter. Milton also showed off his excellent athletic skills, running a 4.55 40-yard dash at 245 pounds.

It’s no surprise that teams are a bit enamored with Milton one way or the other. While the talent he possesses didn’t translate into a ton of success in college, coaches have to think they can mold such raw talent into something at the next level. It’s not every day a guy with Cam Newton levels of arm strength and athleticism comes around, even if he hasn’t been able to produce at those same levels.
