(SPOT.ph) Good news, commuters! The long, winding commute from the Navotas Bus Terminal in the north to the Parañaque Integrated Terminal Exchange (PITX) to the south is about to get more convenient with the launch of a direct bus route between the two transport hubs.
Starting February 20, the buses operating on this route will run from 5:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. via R-10. Passengers can board the DSN Business Partner Transport and Tesselle One Liner buses at Gate 9 Bay 9 at the PITX.

Navotas Bus Terminal is a key transport hub. When it was built in 2004, they reported around 400 buses operating daily. There are routes to Alabang, Malabon via EDSA, Baclaran Navotas via Ayala, Taguig City, and more.
Pre-pandemic, it was announced that Navotas Bus Terminal would be upgraded to include covered walkways and a ferry station in the transport terminal. There’s no known timeline for this initiative, but one thing is for sure: The addition of PITX’s new route will make travel to and from Navotas more accessible, reducing the need for commuters to take on multiple transfers.
