Like many cancers Ovarian cancer can also spread to many other organs if left untreated. It can lead to multi organ involvement with disseminated carcinomatosis. It can lead to infection and pulmonary embolus too. Life expectancy in untreated ovarian cancer is less than a year.

One can have metastasis to other regions. It may spread to other major organs and cause dysfunction and death. Bowel and bladder involvement can cause diarrhea or bowel obstruction. Vaginal bleeding. Ascites.
