In the morning of February 17, Air Force units destroyed three Russian fighters on the Eastern front, according to the Telegram channel of Air Force Commander Mykola Oleshchuk.
According to Oleshchuk, Russia’s losses were replenished by:
・two Su-34 fighter-bombers.
・one Su-35 fighter.
As Chief Commander of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Alexander Syrskyi stated, the fighters were shot down during an attempt by the enemy to strike our troops’ positions with guided aerial bombs.
Russia’s losses in the war
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces, during the past day, on February 16, Ukrainian soldiers eliminated another 1,050 occupiers. Since the start of the full-scale invasion, Russia has lost 401,350 military personnel.
In the same period, on the Tavria front, yesterday our troops eliminated 609 Russian terrorists and destroyed 21 enemy vehicles. Additionally, 230 UAVs of various types were neutralized or destroyed.
