Sun Princess
Princess Cruises is launching a new ship-with-a-ship experience onboard its two newest ships, Sun Princess and Star Princess.
Called the Sanctuary Collection, the experience includes access to a private area on the top dock, a luxurious stateroom, private dining and other perks. Guests who reserve in the Sanctuary Collection will also get the Princess Premier bundle, which includes Wi-Fi, pre-paid gratuities, unlimited professional photos, premium drinks and more.
Sun Princess debuted in February, while Star Princess is scheduled for a postponed delivery in September 2025.
On the top deck of Sun Princess, the Sanctuary Club is now open only to Sanctuary Collection guests, who can access the area with their Princess Medallion. An adults-only part of the space includes plush lounge furniture, private cabanas, a pool and jacuzzi, soothing music, refreshing beverages and light bites. Sanctuary Club also offers exclusive events, like sail-away receptions and sunrise yoga.
Travelers who reserve in the Sanctuary Collection aboard Sun Princess can choose between three stateroom types: Signature Collection Suites, Mini Suites and Premium Deluxe Balconies.
“Our new Sanctuary Collection offers guests those ultra-private, tucked away spaces that rival any high-end resort and surpasses the offerings of comparable cruise lines featuring similar ship-within-a-ship amenities,” says John Padgett, president of Princess Cruises. “With spacious and well-appointed accommodations, along with an array of premium extras and its exclusivity, our new Sanctuary Collection delivers the ultimate in access and indulgence to deliver an unparalleled experience.”
