Police forcibly remove protestors from Columbia University campus
Police have forcibly removed the protestors on campus at Columbia University in New York but tensions remain high.
Students living on campus are still required to show their ID to access their own dorms and it is expected to continue for the last few weeks of the semester.
“In general it’s been difficult at times going on campus,” says Columbia University student Ben Solomon.
“Every day that we walk past the encampment with signs hanging up defending Hamas, I think it’s difficult for a lot of Jewish students,” he told Sky News Australia.
