PM’s ‘coward’ dig at Congress: ‘Wept at global forums after terror attacks’
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday hit out at the Congress over national security, saying the party was “coward” as its government used to weep on global platforms after terrorist attacks. Addressing a rally in Jharkhand’s Palamu, PM Modi said the situation had changed under the BJP regime and Pakistan was now “weeping and screaming” for help.
“Earlier, after terrorist attacks, Congress’s coward government used to weep on the global platform. The time when India used to weep on the global platform has gone. Now, Pakistan is weeping and screaming for help,” PM Modi said.
