Playseat Formula Intelligence F1 Edition
The great thing about sim racing is that you don’t need millions of pounds in sponsorship backing and a maverick disregard for your no claims bonus to enjoy it. That said, we all enjoy a bit of luxury, even in our virtual drives. And Playseat’s new official F1-branded sim racing cockpit certainly offers a bit of that.
Playseat Formula Intelligence F1 Edition
The Formula Intelligence F1 Edition is priced at £2,149 and launches today. It’s endorsed by drivers from the current F1 grid and aims to “deliver a true-to-life racing experience that rivals the intensity of the track”, says Playseat.
The cockpit’s built with mounts for a racing wheel, pedals, and display panel, and it’s adjustable to fit sim racers of both Alex Wurz and Yuki Tsunoda proportions.
The white colour scheme with official F1 branding is certainly a striking look in contrast to most sim racing hardware, where black has been the new black for the last few decades.
