Perto de cessar funções enquanto presidente do FC Porto, Pinto da Costa foi castigado, na tarde desta terça-feira, pelo Conselho de Arbitragem da Federação Portuguesa de Futebol.

Pinto da Costa foi castigado, face às declarações feitas após a derrota no Estoril. O dirigente de 86 anos de idade foi multado em 5000 euros e suspenso por 35 dias.

A decisão foi tomada depois da Comissão de Instrutores da Liga ter reportado o caso ao CD da FPF.

No passado sábado, Pinto da Costa viu o reinado de 42 anos chegar ao fim, após perder as eleições para André Villas-Boas, que vai tomar posse a 7 de maio.
