MANILA, Philippines: The Petro Gazz Angels asserted their dominance and quickly dispatched the Cignal HD Spikers 25-13, 25-18, 25-17, in the Premier Volleyball League (PVL) 2024 All-Filipino Conference at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig City on Tuesday, April 16.
Petro Gazz boosts semis bid by sweeping Cignal
The Angels are now tied with Creamline at second place with a 7-2 win-loss card.
Cignal, on the other hand, is on the brink of elimination with a 5-4 slate.
Player of the game Djanel Cheng tallied 12 excellent sets and activated Jonah Sabete and Brooke Van Sickle, who chimed in 16 and 13 points, respectively.
No player from Cignal scored in double digits as Vanie Gandler and Ces Molina were limited to eight points apiece.
Choco Mucho leads the league with an 8-1 record.
