Arsenal title run-in fixtures compared to Man City and Liverpool

Arsenal have been handed the initiative in the title race after Liverpool dropped two important points in their 2-2 draw at Old Trafford on Sunday.

Mikel Arteta’s side now lead Liverpool on goal difference. They breezed past Brighton a day earlier to reach the Premier League summit, with goals from Bukayo Saka, Kai Havertz, and Leandro Trossard. The Gunners also kept their 14th clean sheet of the season, five more than any other side.

Manchester City trail the north Londoners by a point. Pep Guardiola’s men are aiming for an unprecedented fourth consecutive title, and are also still in the hunt for the Champions League and FA Cup.

The Gunners are in pole position to win their first league title in 20 years, but still must navigate tricky away fixtures against arch-rivals Tottenham and Manchester United.
