Prince Harry and Meghan Markle didn’t show up to the star-studded Super Bowl game despite the Duke’s recent Las Vegas appearance at an NFL awards show.
The couple were originally rumoured to join the many a-list celebrities who attend the biggest American Football game of the year, which took place in Las Vegas last night.
However, Harry and Meghan were nowhere to be seen at the game which the Kansas City Chiefs won with a last-minute touch down in overtime in a tight game against the San Francisco 49ers.
The snub was made all the more unusual after Harry made an appearance at the NFL Honours on Thursday night in Las Vegas.
At the awards ceremony, Harry presented the prestigious Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year Award to the Pittsburgh Steelers’ Cameron Heyward.

The exact reason for the pair missing the game is unknown as it seems it would have been very easy to hang around Las Vegas for a few days to catch it.
American Football bosses had reportedly invited Harry and Meghan to the Super Bowl, according to the Mirror.
One NFL insider told the publication: ‘It is well known the Prince loves American football, and bosses have extended an invitation to him following his appearance at the awards.’
Page Six reported that the pair would not attend the game on Saturday due to needing to focus on preparations for their trip to Canada for their Invictus Games opening event next week.
At Thursday night’s award ceremony, Harry made a few gags at the expense of American Football.
He told the crowd: ‘Good evening, NFL. It’s an honour to be with you all tonight. I really love how you stole rugby from us and you made it your own.’
‘Instead of passing it backwards, just pass it forwards. Why not wear pads and a helmet? Of course, have an offense and defense, that makes sense.
Taylor Swift appeared almost in tears as she watched the Chiefs win over the San Francisco 49ers 25-22 in Sin City before sharing several kisses with her boyfriend Travis Kelce

‘And why not take a breather every 15 seconds? And you know what, instead of a 10-month season, let’s just make it 18 weeks. Genius. All kidding aside, what you guys do on and off the field is truly remarkable. You are role models for millions in the way you carry yourselves and the way you give back.’
One person who was certainly at Sunday’s game was music superstar Taylor Swift.
She was there to cheer on her boyfriend and Kanas City Chief player Travis Kelce.
The night was a success for the famous couple who sealed the win with a kiss.
