Dealing with neck pain is simply no fun, and having old, worn-out pillows doesn’t help.

I’ve been on the hunt for reasonably priced pillows that offer support without feeling too firm. On the flip side, I also avoid pillows that are too squishy (yes, I know I sound a little like Goldilocks here).

While I have a memory foam mattress, I don’t have memory foam pillows. This set came rolled up in a small box, so I was a bit skeptical at first. But they quickly inflated, and I tried them out the same night I got them.

Even after just one night, my neck pain started getting better, thanks to the firm and supportive memory foam that’s still soft enough to be comfortable. I also like that the pillows are infused with cooling gel and have ventilated holes for more airflow. I tend to be a warm sleeper, so I appreciate these cooling properties.

Another great feature is the machine-washable covers that come with the pillows. Plus, the pillows are on the smaller side at 24 inches wide, so they easily fit into a standard pillowcase.

The only thing I’d change about the pillows is to make them slightly thicker. They’re about five inches thick, which works great when I sleep on my back or stomach. I also sleep on my side, which is when another inch or so of thickness would be helpful. Even so, the pillows make for more comfortable sleep and have really lessened my neck pain.
