Orphan killer whale called out as she made her way to the open ocean

It’s been a joyful day, a really joyful day and a very ecstatic on how things happen today and grateful for all the support and all the. Relatives and and the friends that joined in the in the in the exercise today to release Quisa Hayes, everything went well. There was a lot of anticipation for this moment, for the past. Five weeks and I think you know with what happened today it it you know it’s it’s something our communities can rejoice. We were just amazed at how quickly and how the behavior in this animal changed when it went from kind of these shallow inlets were restricted to these wide open inlets that are very deep. And her behavior her acoustics change she she actually speed away from the boat and moved into the this Esperanza inlet and and just really took off from the group and just the high energy just a great feeling knowing that that we’ve given her a big chance. And now it’s up to her and we’re very confident that she will meet up with her pod and going forward a real happy ending and and we’re just five weeks of of not knowing if this was being successful enough is is just amazing for the team and how we feel is it’s hard to describe. I mean it’s been one of the best experiences of my life for sure.
