Olivia Newton-John’s daughter Chloe Lattanzi has revealed how her late mother’s fans have been a life raft for her in dark times.

The US-based singer and actress, 37, told The Daily Telegraph that the love and support she has experienced has made a world of difference in her grief.

‘I got absolute oceans of love and support and connection,’ she said.

‘I would have fans reaching out – you know: “If you ever need anything [or] anyone to talk to…” or, “We love you so much.” It was kind of a lifeboat. It was beautiful, all these people sending so much love to our family and loving my mother.’

‘I treasure what they all gave me, which was support and kindness [that] really lifted me out of dark places’ she added.

Speaking to Loose Women’s Coleen Nolan and Gloria Hunniford on the day that would have been her mother’s 75th birthday, Chloe explained why she still feels that her mum is with her.

Speaking on her death, she added: ‘The fans were really a life raft for me, having millions of people pour out energy and love towards me and my family, and celebrating my mum, really lifted me up in dark times.

Adding emotionally: ‘I want to thank everyone… for your support. It really helped me and I know my mum feels it.’

‘I have not been okay. I’ve had extreme memory loss and difficulty getting out of bed. I’ve been neglecting myself,’ she explained in an Instagram video.

‘One of my mum’s biggest messages was to take care of yourself. So, I’m gonna disappear for about three weeks because I’m developing health issues in my mind and body.’
