Prior to today it was speculated that either Monday or Tuesday would be the first day of the series – we finally have a press release detailing the date for every game. Plus we have the time for the first two games.

It is good for Oilers and Canucks fans to get clarity, so they can plan out their own schedules accordingly. Unfortunately with the nature of the Stanley Cup playoffs – most of this happens on the fly.
The Oilers practice in Edmonton tomorrow and then (most likely) fly out to Vancouver on Tuesday – to then take part in morning skate on Wednesday.
