No arrests yet in Molotov attack
IPOH: There have yet to be any arrests made in connection with the incident where a Molotov cocktail was hurled at a KK Super Mart outlet in Bidor.
Tapah OCPD Supt Mohd Naim Asnawi said investigations are ongoing.
“However, no arrests have been made so far.
“I am urging the public with information over the incident to contact and provide details to the police,” he said in a statement.
On Tuesday, Perak police Chief Comm Datuk Seri Mohd Yusof Hassan Basri said that police are investigating the incident, which occurred at Tuesday at 5.35am, and has obtained the CCTV footage.
The CCTV footage showed a dark-coloured car parked by the roadside with a red “Lalamove” sticker on its door.
Police said a man alighted from the car before throwing a bottle at the shop and fled.
Comm Mohd Yusri said the Molotov cocktail was thrown at the shop but landed at the five-foot walkway and did not ignite.
