Lee Longlands Teramo Bedroom Collection

The Mall at Cribbs Causeway will welcome a new furniture retailer on Boxing Day (December 26).

Lee Longlands will open the doors to its new showroom at the Bristol shopping centre, located next to Sports Direct. The new Cribbs Causeway showroom will be the seventh shop for the Midlands-based company whose other showrooms are located primarily around the Midlands area, with Cheltenham being the next closest for shoppers in the South West.

The new Lee Longlands showroom has created 10 new full time jobs to the local area, along with ongoing opportunities for local tradespersons in relation to the shop fit. Lee Longlands is a family run business that has been trading for over 120 years. Fourth generation family member Robert Lee currently runs the business.

Mr Lee said: “As Bristol’s premium furniture retail destination, we are delighted to be opening a showroom at Cribbs Causeway. Although we are extremely well known in the Midlands, we wanted to spread our wings to other areas of the country and believe we can bring something ‘wonderfully different ’ to local shoppers looking to beautifully furnish their homes.

“We source our products from around the world, work with small independent UK manufacturers as well as premium brands such as Bontempi, Ercol, Kartell, Stressless and Tempur, to create an effortless shopping experience for our customers, which really is second to none.

“We had a pop-up store in Bristol’s Cabot Circus around 13 years ago and received fantastic feedback, so coming back to the area is very exciting for us. Cribbs Causeway is an ideal location, not only due to its great access and transport links but it also allows us to have a large enough space to showcase the full extent of our ranges. From contemporary to glamour, furniture to flooring this new showroom will be a one stop shop for customers’ home furnishing needs.”
