Nespresso's first Southeast Asia boutique concept opens in PH
Nespresso opens a new boutique in Trinoma, Quezon City but it’s not just any other concept store that offers the machines or pods from the premium portioned coffee brand. The new boutique design concept is the first of its kind for the brand in Southeast Asia.
1 The new Nespresso store in Trinoma, Quezon City is a new boutique design concept for the brand. Among the first customers were Solenn Heussaff and Nico Bolzico. The decision to debut its latest boutique design in the Philippines underscores the country’s growing demand for elevated standards in both coffee and retail experiences. The brand believes Filipino consumers no longer settle for merely good products; they crave a holistic encounter that embodies quality, innovation, and education.
“We see that the population is young and they like to try what is new, same with the latest in coffee. We noticed a number of coffee drinks and cafes popping up in the country and so for us, it’s an indication of the country’s love for coffee. Therefore, if we come up with something new in Nespresso, Philippines is a good spot to launch it,” Fabio de Gregorio, Nespresso Asia Regional Business Development Manager, told The Sunday Times Magazine on the sidelines of the store opening.
“The Trinoma boutique will redefine the way people engage with and enjoy coffee. Here, we will be able to showcase the best of Nespresso’s savoir-faire and innovation through immersive and sensorial experiences,” Patrick Pesengco, Managing Director of Novateur Coffee Concepts, Nespresso exclusive distributor in the Philippines, added in a separate statement.
The boutique welcomes patrons to a novel coffee experience centered around five arts, with each aspect contributing to an immersive journey.
First is the art of design, which seeks to evoke emotions through beautiful aesthetics and design. Second is the art of coffee savoir-faire, offering insights into roasting and tasting to enable discovery of coffee aromas and origins. Third is the art of sharing and caring, which fosters the passion of coffee through masterclasses and events. Fourth is the art of circularity, which highlights Nespresso’s commitment to sustainability through interactive dashboards and where one can participate in Nespresso’s recycling efforts by returning their used capsules.
Lastly, there’s the art of hospitality, which focuses on Nespresso’s commitment to uphold its hospitality heritage and excellent customer service with the offering of gift wrapping and personalization services. All in all, the boutique is thoughtfully curated to spark and cultivate interaction, immersion, and inspiration.
De Gregorio specifically highlighted the bar inside the boutique store.
The Coffee As An Art space features a ‘coffee theater.’“We are using the bar as the spot for courses and masterclasses to present coffee recipes from guest mixologists, among others,” the executive added.
Unique to this concept, the Trinoma boutique also has a Lounge where customers can relax while savoring their coffee. Beyond a place for rest, the area also encourages Nespresso enthusiasts to connect over their shared passion for coffee.
At the center of the 98 square meter boutique, the experience becomes more personal with the Art of Circularity and Nespresso & You counters. These take patrons to a deeper dive at the brand by showcasing Nespresso’s advocacies, programs, and specialized services.
Nespresso Boutique Trinoma is located at the 3rd floor of the Trinoma Mall in Quezon City.
