The field for the 2024 NBA Playoffs has not yet been finalized, but the postseason schedule is already starting to take shape.
On April 17, the NBA revealed dates and tipoff times for first-round contests in the Eastern and Western Conferences. Game 1 of each series will take place on April 20 and 21, giving basketball fans a loaded opening weekend of playoff action.
In the East, the current first-round matchups are Bucks vs. Pacers and Cavaliers vs. Magic. The Celtics and Knicks are closely monitoring the results from the Play-In Tournament. In the West, only the top-seeded Thunder are waiting for an opponent, as the other three series have been locked in: Nuggets vs. Lakers, Timberwolves vs. Suns and Clippers vs. Mavericks.
