nascar predictions for 2024: champion, best team, comeback driver and much more

It’s never easy to predict anything in sports and when it comes to NASCAR 2024, it becomes even tougher.

However, there is always excitement when fans debate about things like: which drivers will flourish, and which drivers won’t in the upcoming season?

So, let’s predict the Champion, top rookie, best team, comeback driver and other things for the 2024 NASCAR season.

Daytona 500 winner: Denny Hamlin

Brad Keselowski is a top contender to win the first race of the year. He enters the race with a 98-race winless streak and would carry that confidence.

Regular-Season Title: Kyle Larson

The regular-season title is likely to go to Kyle Larson, who led the most laps last year. However, he didn’t finish the deal several times.

Playoff Participants

These drivers will once again compete as playoff participants from last year: Christopher Bell, Ryan Blaney, Chris Buescher, Kyle Busch, William Byron, Ross Chastain, Brad Keselowski, Kyle Larson, Denny Hamlin, Michael McDowell, Tyler Reddick, Martin Truex Jr., Bubba Wallace

New drivers this year: Chase Elliott, Ty Gibbs, Daniel Suarez

Drivers who took part last year but will miss out this time: Kevin Harvick (retired), Joey Logano, Ricky Stenhouse Jr.

Champion: William Byron

American racing driver William Byron could become the champion. He has a point to prove after there was chatter that maybe he wasn’t as good as his six wins showed last season.

Rookie of the Year: Zane Smith

Smith is the most successful driver of the three rookies (Josh Berry, Carson Hocevar, Smith) when it comes to national series racing. So, he might become the Rookie of the Year.

Comeback Driver of the Year: Chase Elliott

Elliott has a good chance to win races and make the playoffs this year after his disappointing 2023 in missing seven races, primarily because of injury.

Team of the Year: 23XI Racing

There is a strong possibility that 23XI Racing might emerge as the Team of the Year in the NASCAR 2024 season.
