UFC 300 weigh-in results: Perfect session for historic card in Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS – MMA Junkie was on scene and reporting live from Friday’s official UFC 300 weigh-ins, where all 26 fighters hit their marks.

In the main event, light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira (9-2 MMA, 6-1 UFC) puts his title on the line for the first time against former champ Jamahal Hill (12-1 MMA, 6-1 UFC), who vacated the belt before he ever defended it in 2023 due to an injury. The headliners were among the final four to come to the scale, but hit their marks at 205 pounds.

In the co-feature, women’s strawweight champ Zhang Weili (24-3 MMA, 8-2 UFC) and challenger Yan Xiaonan (17-3 MMA, 8-2 UFC) meet in the first all-China title fight in UFC history. Xiaonan was the first fighter on the scale and was a title-ready 115 pounds. Weili came about a minute later and was 115, as well.

Of note, two-time PFL lightweight $1 million winner Kayla Harrison (16-1 MMA, 0-0 UFC) is making her UFC debut against former women’s bantamweight champion Holly Holm (15-6 MMA, 8-6 UFC). Harrison is fighting at 135 pounds for the first time in her career – and she only fought as low as 145 once. But she hit 136 pounds on the scale about 15 minutes into the session and took away any drama wondering if she’d make weight – a big talking point heading into the fight. Holm was 136, as well.

The early weigh-ins took place at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas and preceded the ceremonial weigh-ins for the fans, which take place at 7 p.m. ET at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. UFC 300 (pay-per-view, ESPN, ESPN+) takes place Saturday at T-Mobile Arena.
