‘My Guardian Alien’ shows strong comeback from start of the week loss to ‘Linlang’
The Kapuso family-fantasy drama series ‘My Guardian Alien (MGA)’ made a remarkable comeback after initially trailing behind ‘Linlang’ at the beginning of the week, as per the latest ratings from the Nielsen NUTAM People survey.

On Monday, April 22, ‘Linlang’ kicked off the week with a leading rating of 11.0 percent, edging ahead of MGA’s 9.8 percent, placing Linlang at number 4 on the ratings chart and MGA at sixth position.
However, on the following day, Tuesday, April 23, MGA turned the tables, surpassing Linlang and securing the number 4 spot, while Linlang slipped to number 5. The Marian Rivera-led series achieved a rating of 11.0 percent, outshining Linlang’s 10.1 percent by 0.9 percent.
‘My Guardian Alien’ continued its winning streak on Wednesday, April 24, with a rating of 10.7 percent, once again outpacing Linlang by 0.7 percent at 10.0 percent.
The trend persisted on Thursday, April 25, with the Kapuso primetime series maintaining its lead at 10.0 percent against its Kapamilya rival Linlang, which scored 9.7 percent.
Prior to its setback on Monday, MGA had dominated the previous week, consistently outperforming Linlang from April 15 to April 19.
On April 15, MGA scored 10.3 percent against Linlang’s 9.6 percent. On April 16, the Kapuso series garnered 9.9 percent, surpassing Linlang’s 9.6 percent by 0.3 percent. On April 17, MGA obtained 9.6 percent, leading Linlang by 0.1 percent. On April 18, the Kapuso series surged to 11.4 percent, leaving Linlang trailing at 10.4 percent. And on Friday, April 19, it completed the sweep with 10.3 percent, beating Linlang’s 9.7 percent.
