Fans of ’90s R&B and Soul music will be disappointed to hear TLC has cancelled their Australian tour with Busta Rhymes and En Vogue.

In a statement released by TLC on Friday, the artists said ‘due to unforeseen circumstances’ they will not be going through with their upcoming tour in March.

The girl group, who formed in Atlanta in 1990 and quickly became a worldwide sensation, admitted they ‘regret’ cancelling, and ‘promise to make it up’ to fans.

‘To our incredible Australian and New Zealand fans, with heavy hearts, we regret to announce the cancellation of our upcoming tour,’ the statement read.

‘Unforeseen circumstances have made it impossible to proceed, and we sincerely apologize for any disappointment.’

It continued: ‘Your support means everything, and we promise to make it up to you. We can’t wait to be back in your beautiful countries soon.’

TLC finished their message by thanking their fans for their ‘understanding and love’ before assuring ‘tickets will be automatically refunded in full’.

Duo Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins and Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas were set to kick off their tour in Melbourne on March 2 before they cancelled it.

The band last performed in Australia during the RnB Fridayz Live tour in November 2022.

Thrift Shop hitmaker Macklemore, who performed at the 2017 NRL Grand Final in Sydney, headlined the event and performed alongside a bevy of other stars.

The huge line-up also included international superstars like Ashanti and Shaggy and Australia’s own DJ Havana Brown.
